Birchwood is an Irish family owned and operated B&B. World famous Garnish Island Gardens in the idyllic village of Glengarriff are only a twenty-minute drive away. The newly opened Bonane Heritage Park is five minutes walk from us. This park contains many ancient sites of archaeological interest, ring forts, stone circles, a famine ruin and standing Stones. It shows that our parish of Bonane was inhabited 6000 years ago.
